Services

Foundations and Footings.

Excavation for house foundations, footings and slab preparation, dug to the depths and dimensions on your engineer's plans so the concrete crew can get straight in.

Building Platforms.

Plenty of Northland sections sit on a slope. We cut and shape level building platforms so the house has a firm, even base to sit on.

Pools, Driveways and Garages.

Pool dig-outs, driveway boxing and garage floor excavation for residential properties. The spoil gets spread on site or removed, whichever works better for you.

Commercial Excavation.

Larger digs for carparks, yards and commercial building sites. Big jobs get the same attention to levels and drainage as a single house site.

Process

How We Handle It

Every excavation starts with what’s in the ground. Northland has plenty of heavy clay, and some sites hold water for weeks after decent rain, so we look at the soil, drainage and any existing services before we set a price. If your engineer or geotech report calls for a certain depth, that’s what we dig to.

You’ll know when we’re starting and roughly how long the job will take. If the weather turns and the dates need to shift, we tell you early. Anything extra that turns up on site gets priced before we do it.

Why Choose Us for Your Excavation

Excavation is the first real work on most building projects, and mistakes made here follow the job all the way up. Get the levels wrong and your builder can lose days putting it right.

CB Earthmoving is a family-owned business that’s been digging across Northland since 2017. You deal with the owners directly, so you always know who to ring about your job.
